All bookings accepted by the A1 CARS will be bound by these terms and conditions and customers will be deemed to have read and accept them when booking. You will receive automatically an Journey Acknowledgement e-mail for the journey(s) you have paid for. You are responsible for checking that the details received to us are correct. You will receive a Journey details e-mail when the journey has been assigned to a driver. This will contain the pickup instructions and the driver's telephone number. We will not refund you if you have forgotten to take this with you. We do not accept any responsibility in any way for missed appointment/train/coach/flight for whatever reason i.e traffic delays, accidents, breakdowns, severe weather conditions or any unforeseen circumstances. We advise passengers to plan to arrive at the airport 3 hours prior to flight departure to allow for possible unpredicted delays en route to or from the Airport. We will not take responsibility for any passenger missing their flight, if 3 hours check in time was not allowed. You are free of course to arrange to get to the airport for a time of less than 3 hours prior to flight departure, however We accepts no responsibility for any missed flight due to this. All passengers are advised to have adequate travel insurance prior to booking. No responsibilities for costs are to be refunded to any passenger who do not wait for their driver and take alternate transport.
You can cancel any booking which have already been paid over 36 hours notice from the Pickup time. We will only charge £ 10 administration fee. All Bookings cancelled in between 36 hours to 24 hours from the pickup time, we will charge 50% of the booking or £ 10 whichever is greater. Rest will be refunded. We will not refund any amount if booking cancelled less than 24 hours notice from the pickup time. We do not accept any responsibility in any way if the passenger/luggage requirement exceeds the capacity of the vehicle booked. If you are unsure about the capacity of the vehicle booked please contact our customer care team immediately.
We reserve the right to refuse carriage of animals which were not agreed at the time of booking. All animals must be secured in a suitable transport box/crate. We accept no responsibility for costs incurred from a failure to abide by these terms. The exact route of your journey down to the driver’s discretion on the day of travel, alternate route may be requested and will be assessed by driver on a case by case basis. Please ensure you give us your arrival date and time in to the Uk and not your departing information, in case of airport booking. If your flight has serious delays please inform us or driver as soon as possible. We reserve the right to provide an upgraded car type from the original selected if chosen vehicle is not available. We use our own transport wherever possible but do use third party companies where appropriate. We use taxi meter fitted in the vehicle in case of non fixed price journeys. The driver has right to start meter from the booked time. In case of ASAP booking the Driver will start meter after 5 minutes of arrival time. It is the responsibility of the hirer to ensure that they board the taxi promptly to keep the fare to a minimum. We reserve the right to provide you two cars where we are unable to provide Minibus. We will provide two cars on the same price of Minibus. Executive Cars could be Mercedes or BMW or Audi or VW PASSAT or similar to these. We reserve the right to refuse to carry any passengers who are under the influence of alcohol or drugs and who in the opinion of the driver pose a threat to him/her or his/her vehicle. All Airport Pickups Includes waiting time of 30 minutes (calculates from flight land time or booked pick up time). After that Driver has right to charge 20 pence per minute and car parking charges will be paid at actual by the customer, If there any. The journeys involved dropp off at Airport will have to pay drop off charges to the Driver, if payable at the drop off Airport. Our Meet & Greet Service will be on request with additional charge of £7.
Please read the terms of this disclaimer carefully – it contains important information about the service we provide, your rights and limits our obligations to you when certain things go wrong. When you book with us, you will specify a collection time and may specify the time by which you need to arrive at your destination. Whilst we will do what we can to collect you/your passengers at the agreed time and to arrive at the specified destination on time, the very nature of road transport means we cannot guarantee that will happen. You are responsible for ensuring that the collection time you have agreed allows you sufficient time to reach your destination, taking account of the unexpected events that could occur and delay your journey or our vehicle on its way to collect you. If we feel that the time allowed is unreasonable for the journey, we will notify you at the time of booking. Should you continue with the booking knowing that there is a risk of not making your destination at the prescribed time, our drivers will not be coerced into speeding or breaking any of the road traffic laws, to enable you to make that connection. Please be aware that there are numerous factors that we cannot prevent against and which may impact or delay your journey with us. For these reasons our service is provided on the basis that we are not responsible for any inconvenience, losses you suffer, costs you incur or other consequences arising from our failure to provide, or delays in providing, our agreed service because of factors which could reasonably be considered to be outside our reasonable control. Factors outside of our reasonable control include (but are not limited to) adverse weather conditions; accidents involving our vehicles; delays caused by traffic congestion, road works, road closures, accidents or diversions; or mechanical breakdowns which are unexpected and could not have been prevented by a reasonable preventative maintenance programme.
